It's even a concern for Gen Y and Millenials, apparently. Great customer service, great customer experience, creates lasting impressions that strengthen brand loyalty. Creating something memorable - well, that's the hard work. Reminds me of Gilles the Paint guru, who always had a smile, a coffee/water, and carried the paint out to the car; you remember the details.

I'm not much for text messaging via SMS. But this is a really cool idea, just sort of on the brink of something even more interesting. Turns out Nordstrom, the US Department store chain, has provided tools to employees to help them text info, including images, to customers. Would it not be reasonable to speculate that a possible next step is personal account managers in such stores? And preferred shopping lists that twinge automated responses from stores with which we are enrolled? Oh, the ideas here are pretty exciting, because it allows high human touch enabled...

We're hearing a lot about gamification and game mechanics in learning. Many seem convinced that this will just pick up steam. In fact, we've even had to address gamification in our recent proposals. Here's some helpful advice to get you considering what needs to happen to catch this wave. (Did I say - fix the LMS/Learning object connectivity to support badges and leader boards? Now I did!)
